| Trance-Cultural Methodology |
|
| The trance-cultural methodology is a very powerful one. We use a so-called ‘generative’ methodology that we also use in NLP 3. |
| Generative means aimed at achieving new results. |
| This methodology is used to explore different cultures, applying techniques and finding similarities for developing new schemes of empowerment. Its principles are |
| - Experience |
| - Getting results |
| - Theorizing |
| - Creating new ways of operating |
|
| Humanistic sciences are a field where the experimental method per se is very difficult to apply and is always questionable because we never encounter two exactly similar situations, apart from the wider context. |
| For this reason we apply a different method based on the belief that if something functions in different cultures, then it should be explored in further detail. |
|
| The reason we put experience above other principles of trance-cultural methodology is that most of the existing theories were born in specific cultures (Western or Eastern), and starting from experience can often open new pathways to possibilities. |
|
| Even when it is possible to find a neurological basis for the results, we explore the results before the possible theoretical framework. |
